The Horticulture Hill Farm Community Garden meets one day a week starting at 4:30 pm Mondays for the Fall 2009 semester.  We will have an organizational meeting on September 14th.

We are pleased to be supporting the Slow Food Baton Rouge chapter as we work to develop a wholesome, just, and healthy community food system  in the Baton Rouge area. 

We will have plot luck October 25th at the Hill Farm in conjunction with Slow Food Baton Rouge. 

Our mission is to provide access to gardening space, education, and resources necessary for the community to grow food in environmentally sustainable ways as a means of creating a food system where locally produced, affordable and nutritious food is available to all, and where the community can come together to share, play, and inspire one another.
